Our team is organising an event next month that promises to blow away fans of computational art with electronic grooves and high-bandwidth wizardry. We invite you to take part and suggest ways you would like to participate, and learn from the leading lights in the Swiss demoscene, via the usual channels.

Der Verein Echtzeit - Digitale Kultur hat seit den frühen 90ern den Schweizer Untergrund der elektronischen Kunst vernetzt und gefördert. Die Demoscene ist eine internationale Computerkunstsubkultur, die sich auf die Herstellung von “Demos” spezialisiert: kleine, in sich geschlossene Computerprogramme, die audiovisuelle Präsentationen erzeugen. Wir laden zu einem Showabend ein, der den Demodays (früher als Bünzli bekannt) gewidmet ist - am Samstag, 12. Dezember 2015, von 17:00 - 25:00 im Kinosaal Lichtspiel Bern.
The buenzli reboot party bietet die Gelegenheit sich an einem grossartigen Ort zu treffen, Demoscene Produktionen anzusehen und sich auszutauschen oder sogar gemeinsam das nächste grosse Projekt anzureissen. Eine lebendige und angenehme Atmosphäre wird Demo(szene)-Liebhaber und Neulinge des Genres zu einer Demoshow begrüssen: Einen Abend lang elektronische Echtzeitkunst auf der grossen Leinwand sehen und geniessen.
Weiterhin gehören zur Zielgruppe Interessierte der Themen: Elektronische Musik, Retro-Plattformen, Art Neuf, LEDs, DIY, Hacking, alternatives Nachtleben und vielem dazwischen. Es werden klassische, retro sowie neuere Produktionen gezeigt, welche in Zusammenarbeit mit Echtzeit, lokalen Sceners sowie der breiten Demoscene ausgewählt wurden. Wir sind offen für weitere Eingaben und Wünsche.

The Buenzli reboot party
Since the early 90’s, the Echtzeit - Digitale Kultur association has connected and accelerated creativity at Switzerland's main yearly underground electronic art event. The demoscene is an international computer art subculture that specializes in small or self-contained computer programs that produce graphics, animation and music. We invite you to an evening dedicated to Demodays (formerly known as Bünzli) on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Lichtspiel cinema in Bern from 17:00 - 25:00.
The buenzli reboot party will be a tasteful and cozy gathering welcoming demoscene aficionados and newcomers for an evening to appreciate real-time electronic art on the big screen. We will feature classic, retro and cutting-edge productions selected together with Echzeit, local demosceners, as well as the wider scene network - and we are open to submissions and requests.
Our target audience extends beyond demosceners to people interested in electronic music, retro platforms, art neuf, LEDs, DIY, hacking, alternative nightlife, and anyone in between. While not a full-scale demo party, with contests and concerts and all-night programming sessions (for that we have to wait until Demodays 2016) this will be an opportunity to learn about the state of the art, meet the makers, get inspired, and enjoy an evening of audiovisual stimulation.
